Management of Whistleblowing Reports

Management of Whistleblowing Reports

For LCS S.p.A., compliance with laws and regulations, and operating with ethical responsibility towards its clients, employees, and business partners, is a fundamental priority.

To this end, LCS S.p.A. aims to foster a working environment based on transparency and trust, promoting the adoption of tools designed to prevent, detect, and report unlawful conduct and/or behaviour in violation of the ethical principles upheld by LCS S.p.A., in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Company encourages its directors, employees, and all third parties who interact with LCS S.p.A. to report any relevant violation they become aware of — without fear of retaliation — and with the assurance of the highest level of confidentiality and protection for the reporting person (the so-called whistleblower).

Accordingly, LCS S.p.A. informs that it has adopted an internal reporting system compliant with Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, implementing EU Directive 2019/1937, which provides for a dedicated email reporting channel.

All reports will be treated as strictly confidential. LCS S.p.A. ensures maximum protection of the reporting person against any retaliation, discrimination, or other adverse consequences arising from the report.

Reports may concern confirmed or strongly suspected violations of applicable national or international laws, in particular relating to:
corruption, extortion, fraud, health and safety hazards, conflicts of interest, discrimination, harassment, antitrust and unfair competition, tax obligations, money laundering and bookkeeping, human rights violations, and environmental pollution (air, soil, etc.), as well as:

  • Conduct constituting any of the predicate offences under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.

LCS S.p.A. encourages the use of internal reporting channels, as any misconduct or irregularity occurring within the workplace may jeopardize the Company’s core values and high standards of ethics and integrity.

However, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, reporting persons may also contact the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) by submitting a report through the external channel established by ANAC (for details, please refer to the official website page: https://www.anticorruzione.it/-/whistleblowing), when one of the following conditions applies:

  • The reporting person has already made an internal report which has not been properly followed up;

  • The reporting person has reasonable grounds to believe that an internal report may give rise to a risk of retaliation;

  • The reporting person has reasonable grounds to believe that the violation may constitute an imminent or manifest danger to the public interest.
