The need for an automatic warehouse that meets their production and logistical requirements to manage just-in-time orders for the tailoring sector and optimize storage capacity, order fulfillment speed, and operational safety. The existing warehouse had performance, spare parts, and reliability issues, making structural and technological intervention necessary.
Vitale Barberis Canonico, a prestigious Italian textile manufacturer with centuries of heritage, commissioned LCS Group to design a premium automated warehouse at its historic production site — combining operational efficiency with the refined aesthetics of its luxury brand identity.
The project optimized storage of fabric rolls and finished products through high-density modular racking and a goods-to-man flow design, minimizing unnecessary operator movements while mechanized systems deliver materials directly to picking stations.
The facility is powered by LogiWare and LogiCON, which manage real-time inventory, inbound/outbound flows, and stock rotation. The intuitive interface enables staff to work faster and more accurately, reducing waste and maximizing productivity.
Beyond efficiency, the warehouse was designed with attention to premium aesthetics: elegant finishes, carefully designed lighting, and high-end materials, reflecting the company’s artisanal heritage and luxury positioning.
The new warehouse allows Vitale Barberis Canonico to operate an automated, efficient, and brand-consistent logistics system, demonstrating how technology, tradition, and design can merge to create a world-class intralogistics solution.
